About the Event
Join other CHES Families for the Awesome Owls program led by a ranger at Weymoth Woods! They will display three species of owl mounts on a table for students to look at and compare, listen to owl calls, conduct a silent flight demonstration, discuss and show owl pellets, and talk about owl's unique behavioral and physical adaptations using different props!
The class is free, but anyone who wants to dissect an owl pellet can pre-order one and we will have it at the class for you. Feel free to order one pellet per family, or one per student, whatever works best for your family. The pellet kit is $9.99 on amazon, so a total of $11.58 to include tax and PayPal fees.
