CHES Big Canoe Trip at Morrow Mountain

The NC State Park system has two 29.5 foot "Big Canoes" for the purpose of Conservation, Recreation and Education.

We are thrilled that the Big Canoes will be at Morrow Mountain for a short time in September, and we have been invited to use them.

On Tuesday, September 20th, the boats are reserved for us at 1pm.  Each boat will have a ranger and space for 11 more people.  The spots can be reserved for children or for adults, but they have asked that passengers be 3rd grade or higher and able to help paddle the boat!

Since we only have 22 spaces, this will be on a first come first serve basis.  This trip is free, so please communicate with us if you sign up and are unable to go so that we can fill your spots.  We will utilize a waiting list to see if we need more than one offering of this unique opportunity.  

Life jackets will be provided and are required for each passenger.
