About the Event

For the 2023-2024 School year, meetings will ​​be held at the Bible Tabernacle on HWY 22 in the downstairs fellowship hall.  We will typically meet from 1-2:30pm on the 2nd Thursday of the Month.

Thank you to those who stepped up to make book club happen as teachers, helpers and substitutes!

​​PreK-​Kindergarten with Lindsi Hill and Nicole McDermott (We could still use one helper for this class):  Students will be reading a book in class, followed by a craft/snack. A $1 donation per child is appreciated for supplies each class.  We need an RSVP each month to prepare for crafts/snacks.  

1st-3rd Grades with Tiffany Francis (We could still use one helper for this class):  Students will be reading a book in class, followed by a craft​ ​or snack.​  A $1 donation per child is appreciated for supplies each class.  We need an RSVP each month to prepare for crafts/snacks.

​4th-6th Grades with Deana Dyer and David Miedema:  ​​​​Students will ​re​ad ​their book selection ​prior to coming to book club and will discuss it in class.  You may read the book to your child, they can listen to it on audiobook, or they may read it on their own.

*Based on the number of students that sign up for this age group, we are willing to split the group up for 7th-9th graders and 10-12th graders, but we need to know what the need is.  Please send an email to ches.homeschoolinggroup@gmail.com to let us know if you have children in this age group.
