CHES Circle M City Field Trip

Join us as we visit Circle M City in Sanford.   Step back into the frontier days at Circle M City and learn something new while having cowboy fun!  Wander through town and enjoy nearly a dozen 1800’s buildings, including a blacksmith, undertaker, jail, chapel, opera house, Gold Dust Saloon, trading post, leather goods shop, fur trader, gallows and bank. Remnants of days gone dot the town, and make fun photo-ops, such as a stagecoach, paddy wagon, undertaker’s hearse and horses grazing on the hill. Don’t miss out on the museum of wild west and rodeo memorabilia, an old-time dress-up photo session in the Royal Fur Trade, wagon rides, horseback riding, trick roping, calf roping, hachet-throwing and gun-slinging and Sheriff Tim and Crazy Kate’s wild west show!  Here's a link for a neat online article about Circle M City.

Our group will do Old time photos, a Wagon ride and Calf roping.

They have invited us to pack picnic lunches and eat there if we would like to do that after our tour.  So, please feel free to stay for lunch if your schedule allows.  They have a large cafeteria style room and we can also eat outside.

The cost is $15 per student.  (This is $16.05 to allow for PayPal fees).  There is no cost for adults.

We are limited to 60 students but will utilize a wait list if this fills up.
