CHES Class: A Look Into Lichens

Join other CHES families for a unique class, "A Look Into Lichens", taught by CHES Mom Ann Caliri, on Monday, September 16th @ 1pm.

We'll examine 3 different types of lichen and their uses ranging from dye to medicine.  We'll also talk about responsible harvesting practices of these slow-growing wonders. 

Afterwards, we'll go on a brief plant walk to see what else God has provided during the early Fall season for food and medicine.  

This class is limited to 10 participants.  Wear comfortable shoes and bring a towel to sit on.  

We are asking for a $20 donation per family to benefit the Mclendon Cabin and Bryant House upkeep fund.  (This is $21.23 to allow for paypal funds).

Location:  Bryant House and Mclendon Cabin 3361 Mount Carmel Rd  Carthage NC.
