CHES Field Trip to Carolina Sunshine Alpaca Farm (Pittsboro, NC)

Join other CHES families at Carolina Sunshine Alpaca Farm, where they are on a mission to bring just a little more joy and light into the world through happy alpaca encounters and warm alpaca products!

This trip is $13 person ages 3 years old and up ($13.98 to include PayPal fees)

Everyone can move at their own pace, visit, feed and pet the alpacas, and read informational signs as you go through the farm.  They will have staff throughout the farm during that time to talk on specific points of interest, facilitate feeding and interactions with the alpacas, and some type of fiberwork demonstration (not a participatory activity just observational). 

We will have the use of the picnic area with yard games, bubble fun, coloring pages, and sidewalk chalk,

You can stay as long or as short as you choose, but everyone needs to leave by 1pm.

To sign up for CHES Events, you must be a current member for the 2024-2025 school year.
