CHES Field Trip to San-Lee Park

Let’s enjoy the great outdoors - together!  

Join other CHES families for a field trip to San-Lee Park on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  

We will have the opportunity to check out the Nature Center, possibly look at injured or orphaned wildlife up close, go on a guided hike on one of their many trails, and participate in an activity led by their Outdoor Education Specialist (topic dependent on weather that day).  

We have also reserved the covered shelter and families are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy some “free time” after lunch for fishing (bring your rods - under 16 do not need a NC fishing license - live bait encouraged), go on another…
