About the Event
Join other CHES Families to learn more about farming from local experts, whose are previous members of CHES (and CHES Graduates).
In addition to selling hay and beef, Michael and Carol Parker, along with their son, Matthew, have the Terrace Ridge Academy, where they aim to feed the body and the mind. They believe in interactive hands-on learning and in sharing their extensive science and agriculture-based knowledge with families, not just children. Learn more about their farm on their website. During our field trip, there will be 5 stations: cows, planting, hayride (weather permitting), a craft and a story time. This field trip is open to all ages and costs $20 per family ($21.23 including PayPal fees). We will need a headcount for each family because there is a cap on this field trip.
