About the Event
Spanish Club is open to kids, aged 10+, of any speaking level. Monthly meet-ups are designed to encourage kids to practice the amount of Spanish they know, and offer the opportunity to advance their speaking via fun, immersive experiences. Spanish Club meets the 3rd Monday of each month from 4-6pm at varying locations depending on the activity. Meet-up locations will be announced prior to that month's meeting. Our club year runs September thru May with a break for December. Club cost is $52.05 which covers all 8 meetings. We will meet to:
Watch movies in Spanish.
Eat at a local Mexican restaurant to practice speaking, ordering, and cultural dining etiquette. *
Play board games in Spanish.
Visit a local Hispanic grocery store to interact and shop. *
Learn to prepare simple traditional cuisine, and more!
